Eric Novack, MD is a board certified orthopedic physician. He is a partner with OrthoArizona, a leading orthopedic group with locations throughout Maricopa County.

Dr. Novack has a distinguished education. He received his bachelor of science degree from Brown University, graduating magna cum laude. He completed medical school at the University of California, San Francisco and went on to complete his residency at the University of Washington.

Healthcare Policy Leadership
In addition to his work as an orthopedic doctor, Dr. Novack is passionate about improving the U.S. healthcare system and has been active in state and national healthcare policy initiatives.
He has testified to the U.S. House of Representatives Oversight and Government Reform Committee’s Subcommittee on Health and the full U.S. House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee on health care reform.
Dr. Novack has appeared on CNN and Fox News and has had op-eds published in numerous local and national publications. He’s had multiple local and statewide TV and radio appearances and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Arizona Republic and the Washington Post.
At the state level, Dr. Novack has served as a member on Governor Doug Ducey’s healthcare transition team and as a panelist on healthcare reform at the Republican Governor’s Association Executive Roundtable.
Dr. Novack has been active in originating and developing Arizona healthcare legislation, including the “Health Care Freedom Act” concept, which passed in Arizona in 2010 and has since been passed in six states as a constitutional amendment and in another 14 states as a statute. Dr. Novack developed Arizona’s “Direct Pay and Health Care Price Transparency” legislation, which passed in 2013 with bi-partisan support and was expanded to include ‘out-of-network’ provisions, again passing with bi-partisan support in 2015.
